Article's name
[編輯]こんにちは, And first, welcome to chinese wikivoyage! You made some edit like XX to XX市, while we don't given administrative level characters at a place's name. wikifun!--Tianyin LeeTalk to me 2014年4月22日 (二) 00:07 (CST)
- In the case of 廿日市, "市" is included in the city's name (Hatsukaichi). Please see Wikipedia's article. Thank you.--What here area team(討論) 2014年4月23日 (三) 03:24 (CST)
- Wikivoyage != Wikipedia ;) As for administrative levels, there's a weird practice to include the administrative level of a region in official documents. For an encyclopedia, it is necessary to follow the practices of official documents. However, for general uses (such as in oral Chinese), it is more common when there is no administrative levels mentioned (except for disambiguations), just like no one would say California State. Hope this explains it. --Zhuyifei1999 (talk) 2014年4月23日 (三) 18:00 (CST)
- @Zhuyifei1999:You probably misunderstood what he said. this change is positive, see w:廿日市市.--GZWDer(討論) 2014年4月23日 (三) 18:31 (CST)
- hmm...cause I dont know this city before, sorry for my wrong edit.--Tianyin LeeTalk to me 2014年4月24日 (四) 23:32 (CST)
- That's all right. 廿日市 is a very uncommon case. By the way, 四日市市 is one more city that is including "市" in its name.--What here area team(討論) 2014年4月26日 (六) 20:27 (CST)
