本人提前先向中文维基导游的所有编者和读者送去新年的祝福。过去的一年里大家都或多或少的受到了 COVID-19 疫情的影响，但是维基导游依然一直处在前进的道路上，希望大家继续再接再厉，为维基导游添砖加瓦。也欢迎来自维基百科和其他站点的朋友也来进行参加。
本人很长一段时间内因为工作等原因一直没能积极上线，在此本人向维基导游道歉，同时也向在这段时间内为维基导游进行贡献和维护的人表示感谢。
现在也该到了举行 2021 年编辑松的时候了，时间定在 2 月 1 日至 3 月 31 日止，共两个月。形式与去年编辑松活动相同。欢迎大家继续贡献条目。目前有几个可能需要帮忙的点：
- 宣传，欢迎大家多多进行宣传。包括站内 ASN 等，虽然做不到像 2018 年首次编辑松那样大范围挂横幅，但至少维基百科可以挂一个 ASN 请求，其他相关群组也可以多多进行宣传；
- 维基导游七周年 Logo 设计，设计之后去 P 站提一下请求把标志临时进行替换；
- 最主要的还是参与，目前最常见的主要还是增加指南条目和明星条目（不论新建还是旧大纲条目大幅扩充都可以），丰富维基导游的内容。

（省略大量客套话）本年度的编辑松参与非常有限，目前也已经安排此条目在之后进行展出。如果可以，仍然需要对编辑松的形式、宣传力度等方式进行改变，本人在这段时间的不活跃也占了很大的因素。不论是否在编辑松活动期间，维基导游都需要我们每个人做出贡献。
我个人还是希望把这个活动继续办下去的，但囿于本人工作上的不确定因素比较多，也可能在想法上有些欠缺。有什么好的建议或者新的想法欢迎给我留言或者在互助客栈发起新的讨论。另外在宣传方面多多宣传也是很有必要的。

通用行為準則第二階段
通用行為準則（UCoC）提供所有人參與維基媒體運動以及專案時需要遵守的即可接受的行為準則。目前該準則制定進入第二階段，盡力清楚概述其執行方式，你可以在通用行為準則專案頁面中閱讀到更多整個專案的資訊。
草案委員會：徵集申請
維基媒體基金會目前在招募志工加入委員會來起草書寫通用準則並使其可以運行。 加入這個委員會的志工從四月底到七月底以及從十月到十一月底每週必須投入兩至六小時在其專案上。對組成該委員會來說多元性及包容性至關重要，且必須擁有在不同的經驗與經歷，如資深用戶以及新手、曾經收到活動訊息或是響應運動者，及曾經被誤控有騷擾行為之用戶。

2021年社群諮詢：通知並徵求志工及翻譯人員

Suggestion + request for help improving this 100-most-prominent-tourist-attraction-sites-in-China list
First, I must say, in case you didn't know, that I'm one of the most active users at the Hebrew Wikivoyage. Although at the Hebrew Wikivoyage we have been mainly focused on building the "infrastructure" of the site based on what already exists on the English Wikivoyage over a very long period of time, occasionally we would try different features than what the English Wikivoyage has. One different feature which we are currently trying at the Hebrew Wikivoyage is to expand the "Other destinations" sections at the most popular country articles to have max 100 sites instead of just around 5 to 9 of THE most prominent sites.
I first noticed the need of such expanded lists because the articles of the most prominent traveled large countries, which only present very few sites, were quite confusing to our readers whom just wanted to quickly figure out from a quick glance on the Hebvoy country articles what are the regions of the country most worth focusing on (for them) when they would be driving around in those countries looking to see the "highlights" in a relatively short amount of time available to them.
The process by which I use to create these big lists is based on both using various external sources (mostly the page view statistics of tourist attraction articles at the English Wikipedia) as well as refining the rough draft in peer review process in which many Wikivoyagers would help improve the list as much as possible (which I am hoping to achieve with the help of you guys in this thread, as there aren't many people active on Hebvoy these days).
This is the list (the list is currently in English, so that it would be easier for you to go over it).
My request - If possible please help us improve this list by suggesting here on this thread which attractions you recommend adding to the list and which attractions you recommend removing. Any help would be appreciated.
My suggestion - I don't know if the Chinese Wikivoyage community is interested in having similar expanded lists at your "Other destinations" sections of your most prominent country articles, but if for some reason this idea sounds appealing to you too, I would be more than happy to collaborate on making such lists for both the Hebrew Wikivoyage and Chinese Wikivoyage.

Line numbering coming soon to all wikis
From April 15, you can enable line numbering in some wikitext editors - for now in the template namespace, coming to more namespaces soon. This will make it easier to detect line breaks and to refer to a particular line in discussions. These numbers will be shown if you enable the syntax highlighting feature (CodeMirror extension), which is supported in the 2010 and 2017 wikitext editors.

自4月29日起，能夠在模板中建議參數的值。建議值可以加入到模板資料中，並在視覺化編輯器中以下拉式選單顯示，能讓使用模板的使用者快速選擇適當的值，這樣可以防止潛在的錯誤並減少填充模板的值所需的工作量。您仍然可以填充建議值以外的值。
關於支援的參數類型及如何建立建議值等等的更多資訊，可以在[1] [2]，邀請所有人來測試這個功能，並可在討論頁上給予回饋。

2019冠状病毒病数据严重陈旧

地级市带来的歧义
最近本人计划补完黑龙江省的所有县级单位想到的一个问题（除了黑龙江以外，中国大陆所有此类条目几乎都适用（大城市除外，这么分可能更容易产生歧义，另说））：
- 例一：绥化目前指的是地级绥化市下的北林区，但是实际上的绥化指的是整个地级绥化市，而其他的县市全归入绥化中了，变成了它的子条目，比如肇东、兰西、安达等等——也就是本身指的是它下面的北林区。就我本身经历过的情况来说，当地人指的“绥化”就是北林区，而且几乎没有人用“北林区”代称之，而其他县市的人根本不认为自己是绥化（指北林区）的人。
- 例二：上面指的是单一的区，比如七台河条目下面的勃利县（尚未创建，但也符合当前条目分类的默认规则），它有好几个市辖区，但是这个县也属于这个条目下的子条目，还是存在歧义和冲突（见上）。而其他的市辖区都属于七台河，所以这些市辖区本身也是一个整体。
- 例三：大兴安岭地区和呼伦贝尔盟，每个县、县级市和市辖区都互相独立。因为当地人根本就不会说“大兴安岭”“呼伦贝尔”的。
至此，我的想法是对于这些市辖区条目“降一级”，调整对应的维基数据项和维基百科条目的指向，同时新建对应的地级市条目，容纳先前的显示条目和被降级的条目，同样调整对应的维基数据项和维基百科条目的指向，同时也可以间接提升维基导游的条目数量。
按上方举例而言，那么会进行这样的操作：
- 例一：绥化条目不变（维基数据项指向北林区，维基导游的北林区页面重定向到绥化），同时新建条目绥化市（维基数据项指向地级绥化市），再将地级绥化市辖下的各类市县和刚才被降级的条目都分类到这里，然后到维基百科和维基数据调整对应的条目和数据项。
- 例二：七台河条目不变（维基数据项不创建，或者单独创建一个），同时新建条目七台河市，下面包含七台河和勃利县两个条目；各类市辖区条目重定向处理。
- 例三：各个县市分别建立条目，然后创建大兴安岭地区和呼伦贝尔盟两个条目，接着建立分类，包括它所属的各个条目。
至于各类大城市，比如北上广深什么的，暂时先不处理，后续再决定如何处置，现在这么弄肯定是有点问题的。如果没什么问题的话我这几天就开始处理，有什么意见欢迎留言提问指出。--夢蝶葬花（讨论） 2021年5月16日 (日) 00:35 (CST)

Wikimania 2021: Individual Program Submissions
Dear all,
Wikimania 2021 will be hosted virtually for the first time in the event's 15-year history. Since there is no in-person host, the event is being organized by a diverse group of Wikimedia volunteers that form the Core Organizing Team (COT) for Wikimania 2021.
Event Program - Individuals or a group of individuals can submit their session proposals to be a part of the program. There will be translation support for sessions provided in a number of languages. See more information here.

Announcements- To keep up to date with the developments around Wikimania, the COT sends out weekly updates. You can view them in the Announcement section here.

Editing news 2021 #2
今年早些时候，编辑团队对回复工具进行了一项大型研究，旨在找出回复工具是否有助于新编辑在维基上进行交流。第二个目标是查看与使用现有维基文本页面编辑发表的评论相比，新编辑是否更频繁地回复使用该工具发表的评论。
主要结果是：
这些结果使编辑团队相信该工具很有用。
未来展望
在接下來的幾個月內，工作團隊預計以默認開啟的方式開放回覆工具給所有使用者； 而這套模式已經在阿拉伯、捷克與匈牙利文版本的維基百科中使用。
下一步是解決技術挑戰。然後，回覆工具將優先在參與研究的維基百科頁面中使用，之後則會分階段先後在其他維基百科與所有基金會代管的wikis。

Server switch

The Wikimedia Foundation tests the switch between its first and secondary data centers. This will make sure that Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia wikis can stay online even after a disaster. To make sure everything is working, the Wikimedia Technology department needs to do a planned test. This test will show if they can reliably switch from one data centre to the other. It requires many teams to prepare for the test and to be available to fix any unexpected problems.
Unfortunately, because of some limitations in MediaWiki, all editing must stop while the switch is made. We apologize for this disruption, and we are working to minimize it in the future.
You will be able to read, but not edit, all wikis for a short period of time.
- You will not be able to edit for up to an hour on Tuesday, 29 June 2021. The test will start at 14:00 UTC (07:00 PDT, 10:00 EDT, 15:00 WEST/BST, 16:00 CEST, 19:30 IST, 23:00 JST, and in New Zealand at 02:00 NZST on Wednesday 30 June).
- If you try to edit or save during these times, you will see an error message. We hope that no edits will be lost during these minutes, but we can't guarantee it. If you see the error message, then please wait until everything is back to normal. Then you should be able to save your edit. But, we recommend that you make a copy of your changes first, just in case.
Other effects:
- Background jobs will be slower and some may be dropped. Red links might not be updated as quickly as normal. If you create an article that is already linked somewhere else, the link will stay red longer than usual. Some long-running scripts will have to be stopped.
- There will be code freezes for the week of June 28. Non-essential code deployments will not happen.
